On March 4th at approximately 10:30 PM EST, Ioun (Boardname : Xackor Thunderblayd) hijacked the WoW Chapter, Tavern Raiders from its parent guild, The Raiders of the Lost Tavern. After several failed attempts to negotiate the release of our WoW guild, a decision was made to move forward and form another guild under the name of The Infinite, with Zuess as the interim leader.

Within three days over 90 characters have made the transition and the exodus continues.

If you have not made the move yet, please contact any of the following Infinite members for an invite into the new guild.

I am happy to announce that Father-Time (Boardname : Dylaan) has been offered and has accepted the role as Chapter Leader of The Infinite Super Group within City of Heroes.

Father-Time/Dylaan is one of the original founders of The Raiders of the Lost Tavern in August of 2000. Since that time he has been the chapter leader of Anarchy Online, and a senior officer in our Everquest, Star Wars, Lineage Beta, and City of Heroes chapters. He was also the player who convinced me to try both Planetside and City of Heroes as well.

With the Supergroups continued expansion, I am happy to announce that both Judge and MechaTick have been offered, and have accepted the position of Crusader (Sr. Officer) in the Infinite Chapter.

Because of real-life responsibilities and limited on-line time, Pink Wonder has made the decision to step down as leader of The Infinite chapter.

Pink Wonder has done a wonderful job in leading the supergroup since October and will continue to guide the chapter as a Crusader.

The Great Gnome Race will begin on Saturday at 7pm PST (9pm CST).

On June 24, 2004 The Raiders of the Lost Tavern began providing a 40 user TeamSpeak server for exclusive use in any of our guild chapters. Recently we increased the limit to 60 but we are already seeing that limit being pressed (54 simultaneous users on last weekend). Now we have increased the limit to 100, but we needed to change providers in order to provide for both Teamspeak and our future web hosting needs.

FootSore and ShadowMystic would like to cordially invite you all to their wedding to be held on February 12, 2005 at 4:00pm PST in Striga Island. Pre-wedding activities are planned to begin at 2:00pm PST and will continue after the wedding as well.

In just over one month, Tavern Raiders now has over 100 active members.

Over time members slowly moved into other online games from Anarchy Online to World of Warcraft, and while the memory of Everquest will always be important to the Raiders and Everquest 2 continues to grow, the www.eqraiders.com site name simply no longer fit our multiple online gaming organization.

With that in mind, www.tavernraiders.com was quietly rolled out in November to replace www.eqraiders.com.
